Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst, ideally with a background in Quality Assurance (QA), to join our team responsible for the development, maintenance, and technical support of our websites and supporting systems. The role holds significant importance in ensuring the team’s success and efficiency in managing all aspects of our websites. Our experienced and delivery-focused team is proficient in top-tier development software and tooling. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in gathering requirements, creating detailed JIRA tickets, and collaborating closely with our Tech teams and Product Leads to deliver business value using the SCRUM framework. Your primary focus will be on understanding and capturing use cases while ensuring all acceptance criteria are met.
What You Will Do:
- Hands-on experience in manual quality assurance.
- Apply your knowledge and experience in working with SCRUM and other Agile methodologies.
- Effectively communicate both written and verbally, addressing technical and non-technical subjects for both technical and business audiences.
- Gather business requirements and break them down into user stories.
- Design and implement application and software testing processes.
- Monitor system and software functionality to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality assurance for software products to ensure they are fully functional.
- Provide guidance on best practices and optimizations during testing and bug-fixing processes.
- Collaborate with fellow software QA leads to develop test plans and innovative approaches for identifying bugs and vulnerabilities in end-user-facing applications.
- Implement feedback and make necessary changes as required.
- Write detailed tickets outlining all project requirements.
Your Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a SCRUM environment.
- Strong technical mindset with a curiosity about how things operate and a commitment to improving processes.
- Proactive, creative, and independent thinker with a hands-on approach.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create detailed tickets that comprehensively outline all project requirements.
