Job Summary:
As the Head of Legal at ibet, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of our iGaming operations. You will work closely with the executive team and various departments to ensure that our activities comply with all relevant laws and regulations, manage legal risks, and provide strategic legal counsel. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a dynamic iGaming company in a challenging and rewarding industry.
What you will do:
- Ensure that ibet’s operations are fully compliant with all local, regional, and international laws and regulations pertaining to iGaming and betting activities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including licensing agreements, supplier contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Stay updated on changes in gaming laws and regulations and advise the company on necessary adjustments and actions to maintain compliance.
- Manage and oversee corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder relations, and company filings.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with ibet’s operations and activities.
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure ethical and legal conduct throughout the organization.
- Develop and lead corporate legal strategy.
- Contribute to training of the team and other stakeholders and to build up legal know-how within the business
Your experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; a Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven experience in a legal leadership role within the iGaming industry or related field.
- Strong knowledge of iGaming regulations and industry standards in relevant jurisdictions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
