Job Summary:
As a Technical Payments Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all technical aspects of payment systems and processes. The role requires advanced knowledge of payment aggregators like PaymentIQ and the ability to work collaboratively with third-party service providers to resolve technical issues.
What you will do:
- Manage the technical aspects of payment systems and ensure their smooth operation.
- Handle advanced configuration of various payment methods and gateways.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and third-party payment service providers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to payment processing.
- Implement new payment solutions and integrations in line with business requirements.
- transactional data and analyze payment processing trends for system improvements.
- Ensure compliance with payment industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams regarding payment systems.
- Work closely with the product team to understand features and technical requirements of PaymentIQ or similar platforms.
Your experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Payments Manager or similar role in a financial environment.
- Strong understanding of payment aggregators such as PaymentIQ and payment gateways.
- Experience with third-party negotiations and technical problem resolution.
- Knowledge of global payment methods and industry compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and communication abilities.
- Experience with payment APIs to support payment system configuration and optimization.
- A strong track record of successful payment system implementations.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and transactional data analysis.
- SQL knowledge considered an advantage.
