The Role
Claymore Group is looking for an ambitious Technical Payments Analyst to join their team. This is a brand-new role in a fast-growing start-up offering a great opportunity for someone to boost their career in the iGaming space. iBet puts its players first and foremost in all that it does, across its entire business. With the fast growth of the business, we are growing our Operations team and are looking for a technical-minded, focused, self-driven analyst to join our new team.
Main responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding and integration of new payment vendors and managing network of existing providers
- Perform testing and quality assurance across payment providers.
- Assisting the department to ensure all goals are met, by providing vital insight from reports and data.
- Gather feedback from CS/Payment/Risk Teams for further system improvements and assist the Product Team with prioritisation.
- Maintain documentation of Payment Methods including customer experience, transaction administration, setup & configuration to ensure that the organisation can be up to date and trained on all Payment Methods.
- Manage escalation of payment issues with providers, tech support and other departments.
- Support your Manager with new member onboarding and ad hoc training sessions for different business areas.
- Coordinate the integration and launch of new Payment Methods/PSPs between Payment/Risk/CS/Product/Finance/Brand Teams.
- Maintain Provider relationships and follow up on performance, metrics and transaction troubleshooting.
- Continue to develop as an expert in the field and share that knowledge with the player-facing teams.
- Cooperating with the Operations, Customer Support, VIP and Marketing teams to develop and improve our internal procedures.
Skills & Experience
- An awesome team player, eager to improve the operational team.
- You have 2+ years of experience working in Payments/Operations.
- Advanced experience in using payment aggregators like Devcode, including back-office tools of various payment vendors to conduct analysis and troubleshooting.
- Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Technical aptitude and strong organizational skills.
- Able to work under pressure and multitask.
- A strong communicator – both written and verbal – in English as well as a secondary language would be great.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – SQL would be an advantage also
- Experience/understanding of iGaming licence jurisdictions e.g. MGA
